A message from Krista

Dear Friends and Family,

Every hour of every day, someone is diagnosed with MS. In 2008, I joined that statistic.

Multiple Sclerosis is something that has recently greatly affected my own life and those lives of my family and friends. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't personally experience the hardships of this disease. Every day that passes is another realization that a cure must be found for this disease.

The Walk MS fundraising event is an opportunity to help bring us one step closer to a cure-- and closer to a world free of multiple sclerosis. By joining my team, you will be signing up for not only a day of fun, but also to help us work together for a common cause-- and one that is extremely important to me.

My family participated in Walk MS last year and had an INCREDIBLE time! This year, we're trying to expand out even more and I'm inviting you to join our team! The walk is a 3 mile walk and will take place in Salt Lake City on April 24 at the Grand Central Station at the Gateway. We would love to have you join our team and walk with us for this very important cause. The walk is free, but asks you to set a fundraising goal and to solicit pledges and sponsors. Our team goal is $1,000. Please help us reach that goal!

Our team is called Raisin' Dough for MS (any of you who know my mom's incredible efforts at making and selling bread to raise money for Andrew's bone marrow transplant can understand the name.) ;-) To register, follow the link below, find our team, and click "Join this team."

If you are unable to walk with us, you can still help support the fund raising efforts with a tax-deductible donation. Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you feel may be interested in either walking with us, or making a tax-deductible donation.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to creating a world free of MS but they can't do it without our help. It's faster and easier than ever to support this cause that's so important to me. Simply click on the link at the bottom of this message. If you prefer, you can send your contribution to the address listed below and make all checks out to the National MS Society.

Any amount, great or small, helps to make a difference in the lives of people with MS. I appreciate your support and look forward to letting you know how I do.

Please feel free to invite your own friends and family to join in! We will be making T-shirts for our team again this year-- so let me know if you're interested!!

Thank you so much for all your love and support!

Krista Stoker

Do You Know The Face of MS?

Multiple Sclerosis Stops People From Moving

The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn't....
If you're reading this - then you know the face of MS - a parent, a sibling, a child, an aunt, a friend, a co-worker, you yourself. That's why we walk. Someone you know is living with MS. Maybe they can walk, maybe they can't. Maybe they have vision problems or maybe they see fine. It's time to let the people in your life know about MS - and why it's important to you.

**Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS**
**MS affects two and half million people worldwide**
**Approximately 30,000 people in Utah are affected by MS**
**82% of people with MS are female**
And we still don't have cure...YET.
Click to Register for our team.

With the help of people like you, we WILL find a cure. So please, reach out to your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues help us meet our goal.
MS may stop people from moving, but it won't stop us from finding the cure!
